Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy, and expensive and you probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Broken after 11 years

Submitted by C M L - 1/24/2017

Control board is shot apparently. No power is activating washer. Additionally the front door plexiglass cracked all the way through half way down early on. For a single person who used this washer once a week Im disappointed. I live in a rural area and a service tech will cost a fortune. I also dont like a front loader. Once they begin you cant open them to add clothes or remove. I dont care about water savings and resent that being used as a selling point. A top loader used to cost $350.00. This one cost $650.00. Not worth the added cost for only 11 years. I expected longer durability from Electrolux.

my machine while it was wonderful at first has now at only 5 years old broken It will not rinse drain or spin without me unplugging it from the electricity at least 3 times to re set itself....... extremely annoying and inconvenient. and sometimes that wont even work. i would not recommend this at all.

Efficient water use

Submitted by happyhorses - 1/5/2011

I like this machine because it uses water efficiently a bonus for people on septic systems. It also spins the clothes quite dry even on the low spin setting.

I use this unit stacked with the matching dryer. The large capacity is very helpful. Clothes come out clean and fresh. No problems at all. Dont stress and just buy one.

wash and jet spin

Submitted by golfnut - 12/21/2010

This washer is great so far 4 weeks of two or three loads per day. The super speed spin really helps in drying the clothes. The controls are easy to read use and understand. We had a Maytag for 19 years with no service calls or problems. Hopefully this washer will be as good.

My First HE Front Loader Washing Machine

Submitted by Tim - 11/29/2010

I have the FS2 version. Wow... I dont know where to begin. This machine gets a very good first impression from me. Its also been a very educational experience. My last Top Loader has went out the door and another will never come back in it unless its an emergency. This machine is literally my very first Front Loader and Im very pleased with it. It does not function like some of the other Front Loaders Ive seen which still waste water. I was a little confused as to how it operates but I think I understand it now. Its intelligent and cool at the same time. It tumbles the clothes through the water using gravity. At the same time the other clothes are rubbing across the fabrics while lubricated by the detergent. The combination of gravity tumbling friction and even water deployment does all the work. By using this method only a fraction of water is needed to clean the clothing. Combine all that with high spin speeds for more efficient water extraction and youve got a real work horse for laundry care. The Ups... * Uses a little less than half of the powder detergent that a Top Loader uses. You can use liquid detergent too but Ive never liked liquid formulas. * Does not waste water and only uses a few gallons to get the job done about 12 gallons full cycle. It keeps only 1 inch of water in the base of the drum to wash. Which I find to be totally amazing with the clothes coming out so fresh and clean. * Draws water from 2 different locations inside the drum Alternates Back Front to make sure the clothes become evenly saturated. * Runs way more quiet than a top loader. Im glad the door is transparent so I can see the clothes moving. You can tell when its drawing water and when its spinning but other than that its quiet as a mouse. * Drains water really fast. I can tell it has some serious siphoning power going on. The sooner it gets to the next step the sooner it will get done. * Spins the clothes nearly dry already especially if you choose the extra spin option. This means less drying time in the dryer... YAAAY... less power consumption too... HURAAAY * I have lower back problems and the door is at the right level for me to sit on a stool to load it. I thought about getting the pedestal but Im glad I didnt. Its perfect just like it is. The Downs well some people think its a down... * Longer washing time compared to a top loader but thats the trade-off for higher efficiency. It does a thorough wash and a very thorough rinse in a normal cycle. This machine actually has a loosening cycle at the end so you wont have to peel the clothes off the drum... thats cool. * You have to buy a different type of detergent. It must be HE detergent for it to wash correctly. The good news is I didnt have to change brands. I use GAIN and they also have an HE formula 80 loads for $10.00... that rocks * Your water pressure must be sufficient at least 30 psi. Im on sorry County Community water and that could be a problem for some people during the day. But all you have to do is make sure you installed the machine with new hoses and dont run any other water while the machine is drawing... problem solved * Theres just a tiny bit more maintenance involved. When youre through using the machine for the day you have to dry the excess water off the seals drum and door bubble. The good news is this prevents mildew and prolongs the life of the seals. Its really not that big of a deal. I keep a hand towel nearby and its a normal ritual for me now. It only takes a few seconds to do this... proactive prevention is always a good idea * When you install the machine you better make sure its sitting level by checking it with a leveler and adjusting the feet. If you dont do this then its going to vibrate and sound like a helicopter flying by and will most likely damage the machine. * You better make sure you have a solid and strong floor to put it on. The machine weighs in at a hefty 200 pounds stainless steel drum. Weak flooring will also cause the machine to vibrate too much. If you have the option of putting it on a concrete floor then that would be the way to go. I put mine on a solid reinforced wood floor and it still vibrates a little more than I want it to. When the final spin speed kicks in it levels out pretty good. Of course it also depends on the type of laundry and how much you have loaded into it. Larger loads 2/3 plus of the drum tend to run smoother than small ones. A guide comes with the washer to help you select the right cycle. Ive never had a washer with so many options to choose from but they are there for good reasons... proper saturation and balance. The Coolest... * The look on my face when the stepping spin speeds kicked in?... Priceless... Roger Tango One ready to taxi on runway 311 left. In position ready for take off. 321... When the first speed kicked in I said Wow. The next speed... Whoah. The next speed... D#N. When it stops it sounds like a turbine shutting down. I would hate to be a rodent trapped in there... LOL.... A whole new meaning to G-Force Overall I would have to say this is a really good washing machine for the price and I love it. Theres a slight learning curve involved with transitioning from a top loader to a HE front loader but I think its worth the trouble. I consider this model my practice model and I dont expect it to last any longer than 3 or 4 years. It might fool me and last 10... well see.
